Brick, iron, stairwells and corridors that have stood on Pearl Street since the 1800s. Room after room built out, lit and dressed to the last detail — and then given over to whatever lives in them now.
It already knows you’re coming
The dark in here is not empty. Whatever is in these rooms has had all season to learn them — where you’ll look, where you’ll freeze, and exactly when to move. There is nowhere in the Factory where you are on your own.

Select nights, indoors, rain or shine — the attraction and the waiting line are both inside. Every night runs on a fixed number of timed slots, and when a slot fills we cannot add to it.

Arrive in your window
Your ticket is a 15-minute arrival window. Turn up inside it and you go straight in.
Sign the waiver first
Every guest needs one. Do it at home from your confirmation email, not in the parking lot.
Recommended 13 and up
There is no hard minimum and there is no children’s ticket — everyone pays the same. It is an intense attraction with darkness, loud noise, sudden scares, fog, flashing lights and tight spaces. For younger children, that call is yours to make.
Fully wheelchair accessible
Fully accessible. Every guest needs their own ticket, companions included — contact us first for specific accommodations.
Indoors, rain or shine
The attraction and the waiting line are both indoors. Weather never changes the plan.
Self reschedule, no fee

How long should I plan for?
Plan on the walk-through plus check-in, concessions and the gift shop. Most groups make an evening of it.
Can I buy tickets at the door?
Buying online is cheaper and it is the only way to guarantee a slot — time slots regularly sell out, especially in October. The ticket booth sells whatever is left over on the night, which on a busy Saturday can be nothing.
What is the difference between General Admission and VIP?
VIP is expedited access — you enter ahead of the general admission line instead of waiting in it — plus access to the V.I.P. Lounge and free refreshments before you go through. On Fridays, Saturdays and October weekends that line is at its longest, which is why VIP sells out first on those nights.
How scary is it?
It is designed to be intense, and it affects everyone differently. Expect darkness, loud noise, sudden scares, fog, strobe-style lighting, uneven flooring and tight pathways. We run a strict no-touch policy: nothing in here will intentionally touch you, and you may not touch anything in it.
Is there an age recommendation?
We recommend it for guests 13 and up. There is no hard minimum and no children’s ticket, so a parent or guardian decides whether it is right for a younger child.
What happens if I miss my time?
Come anyway and talk to the ticket booth. We will get you into the next available window if there is room, but on sold-out nights there may not be. Arriving on time is the safest plan.
Can I book for a group?
Yes. Parties of 15–49 book at $22 per person and parties of 50 or more at $20 per person. You book it yourself in the same window as every other ticket — there is no need to call or email first.
Is it wheelchair accessible?
Yes — Factory of Terror is fully wheelchair accessible. Every guest needs their own ticket, companions included. Get in touch before booking if you need a particular accommodation.
What if it rains?
We open anyway. The attraction and the waiting line are both indoors, so weather never affects your visit.
Can I get a refund?
Tickets are non-refundable and all sales are final, but you can self reschedule free up to 24 hours before your time slot — no fee either way. Inside 24 hours we cannot move it.
Do I need ID?
No ID required. You need a valid ticket and a completed waiver, and that is it.
Is parking available?
Metered street parking, the lot opposite, or the garage at 90 Pearl Street. Follow the posted signs and rates.
Should I skip it for health reasons?
Use your own judgement. The attraction involves darkness, loud noise, sudden scares, fog, flashing lights and tight spaces. If pregnancy, heart conditions, epilepsy or strobe sensitivity, asthma, claustrophobia, anxiety or PTSD are a factor for you, weigh that against the list before booking.
